Fur farming is a form of intensive livestock farming in which the animals are kept for their skin. Ultimately, the skin of the animals is processed into fur. The bodies of the animals are burned or processed into animal feed. Mink, more so than any other farmed species, pose a risk for the emergence of future disease outbreaks and the evolution of future pandemics.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
