The golden snub-nosed monkey is one of earth’s rarest primates, he roams the high mountainous forests of western-central China. It’s able to survive below-freezing temperatures by sleeping clustered together, in the lower forest canopy, with others in its group. The golden snub-nosed monkey is classified as endangered due to habitat loss, deforestation, and historical poaching.
